The citizens of Park City are aware of how exciting their town can be and thanks to a popular magazine the rest of the country was given the opportunity to learn about it as well. In 2013, Outside Magazine released an article outlining the best towns to live in North America, and Park City, Utah was named the best place to live for outdoor activities and adventure. Anyone who has stepped foot in this amazing place would not likely be surprised by this title.
Park City is outlined by over one hundred and fifty miles of hiking and biking trails. There are trails ranging from easy to extreme, so there is a trail for all experience levels, which tends to be a hard find. Many places cater to one experience level or another, but in Park City, every member of the family can find their comfort zone and enjoy himself or herself.
Some other activities offered are winter and summertime bobsledding, many outdoor festivals, hot air ballooning and of course skiing. In fact, Deer Valley Resort has been voted the number one ski resort in North America by the readers of SKI magazine for five years and counting. This is not a shock, as Park City is known for hosting the 2002 Winter Olympics.
