Park City, Utah (January 17, 2014) – reserve town hill Resort’s pro ski athletes overridden the Men’s Slopestyle finals on their home dirt at today’s Visa U.S. Freeskiing impressive Prix presented by The North Face – with three Park town All Stars completing in the peak five. PCMR athlete, and reserve City native, Alex Schlopy completed atop the podium with a 92.20 tally on his first run, punctuated by a phenomenal double 1620 off one of the course’s three jumps. With his first location complete, Schlopy profits from critical points in the direction of qualifying for the first ever U.S. Olympic Freeskiing group.
Fellow PC All Stars Joss Christensen completed fourth and McRae Williams fifth, with Bobby Brown and Gus Kenworthy completing second and third, respectively. Bobby Brown clinched the second men’s slopestyle location on the U.S. Freeskiing group with his podium complete. The last Slopestyle places on the U.S. Olympic Freeskiing group will be determined Saturday when Park town Mountain holiday resort hosts the impressive Prix’s fifth and final affray of the season. Halfpipe Olympic requirement points will also be awarded Friday and Saturday nights when PCMR’s Eagle Superpipe hosts the last impressive Prix Halfpipe events of the time of the year.
Park City Mountain holiday resort then hosts the authorized calling observance for the first ever U.S. Olympic Freeskiing group Saturday night.
