Park City Fishing

Fishing is a huge attraction here in Park City and neighboring areas. All year-round people gather in the waters and wait for the perfect bite. Just a short distance from Park City are two of the most popular spots for fishing in Utah, and some of the most abundant trout waters in the U.S. The Provo River runs through Herber Valley and down the Provo Canyon and takes top rankings annually for having some of the best trout fishing in the U.S.

Also close to Park City is the Strawberry Reservoir, Utah’s most popular fishing waters. Here you will often find large cutthroat, rainbow trout, and kokanee salmon.

The Jordanelle Reservoir is one of Utah’s most popular flat water spots, and is home to trout, bass and perch.
Deer Creek Reservoir located on the lower Provo River is another popular fishing spot where locals and visitors alike can enjoy boat fishing and camping in one convenient location, making it a great place to relax and enjoy Utah’s true natural beauties.
